Right Vizio E322VLI bought this TV because I wanted something that mount on my bedroom wall so my wife and i could watch TV in bed. I wanted the tv to have internet aps do that I didn’t have to hook a bunch of other stuff to it like dvd player etc…

1) The picture quality is quite good. I LOVE the fact that it is truly high def and not just a 720 model.

2) The sound is pretty good for any standard bedroom. It doesn’t sound great when you try to pump up the volume really loud, so if I had this as my primary tv in a large living room I would definitely add speakers to it, but for a bedrrom the internal speakers are more than enough.

3) I have heard no high pitched noises like others have complained about. I am guessing that problem has been fixed.

4) My wife and I both HATE the extra light that comes out of alot of the lcds on today’s electronics. My computer even has tape on it to cover the lcd lights. That said, the glowing Visio light on this tv doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t get that complaint about this tv and I highly doubt most people would be bothered by it (although from the reviews it is clear that some people are)

5) The internet applications are awesome and why I bought this. I hear the Sonys have many more, but it all truth most applications on any tv are worthless. Netflix works well (and that is 95% of use). I’ve also used it to listen to internet radio and pandora, and that works well too. I hooked up a local news ap so the weather is always handy. I dont want anything else so that is good for me.

6) The remote is adequate. I have no troubles using it and find it fairly intuitive, although since it has no backlighting it can be a little trickier to use in the dark.

7) The size is perfect. Any larger and it would be too dominating an unwieldy for a bedroom wall installation. Any smaller and you might not enjoy watching as much. I think the size of this screen is perfect for a bedroom or den.

8) Setup is pretty easy. This tv found all the tv stations and programmed them in with much greater precision than my much more expensive Sharp tv in the family room.

This tv is a very good value for the money and I highly recommend it.

Front Vizio E322VLI got this tv, for my college apartment. IT was a reasonbabe price for a 2″ 1080p Tax was a little expensive, cause I live in New York state. But I figured, this was one of those once in a while, one time expense.

I got it for the netflix streaming and to own a 1080p tv. What can I say, it does everything I need it to do. I am quite happy, with my investment.

Great for a college apartment.

Box Vizio E322VLThe TV was easy to setup, just follow the steps and know the answers before you start. Connected to an older b/g wireless router quickly once I remembered the password. Streaming Netflix and there aren’t any pauses at all. Will upgrade to N wireless if there is ever a problem or I move the TV upstairs, but for now I am fine.

Setup the widgets for easy access to Facebook and the weather next. The lack of the slide out keyboard remote or maybe my fat fingers caused me to have to retry this numerous times before I got it right. Once accomplished though, it works great as well.

Setup the autoscan for local Antenna stations next. This seems to take longer and longer with each new TV I get. After 5 minutes it finished and all 15 stations look great.

Switch to HDMI1 and setup the satellite next. Took all of 5 seconds.

Setup DVD player…… NO S-Video???….. Won’t use the Red White Yellow so I have to wait until I find my RGB cable to set that up. Don’t feel like upgrading my DVD player, but that is an option.

Picture quality: Fantastic!!! This is the NON-LED LCD version so I was a little worried. But this is also put in a bedroom that only has 1 window and very little light coming thru it. So the picture is not affected by that at all. Even with the overhead light on there is no noticeable fading of color.

Sound quality: Good. For this size TV and the room it is in I would normally give it a better rating than good, but when I compare it to my living room TV, it does lack some of the deep bass that certain movies have in the background. Normal talk show conversation is excellent.

Remote usability: Better. It fits nicely in the hand and the buttons are where they need to be. Illumination would be a nice add-on but on most of those types, the word telling you what that button does is not lit up so I don’t mark against this one for that. Still I wish it had the slide out keyboard.

Connections: Better. No S-Video, but then again you probably have a newer DVD/BD player so the extra HDMI connections will be used. I find the side connections (USB/HDMI…) on this TV easier to use than some of the thinner LED versions. I was able to do a NO LOOK thumbdrive connection after the 1st try.

My initial TV purchase was between the 32″ and 37″ Razor LED version of this TV. But after looking at those 2 side by side and seeing this 1 behind me (in Sams Club under full lights), I selected this one. Maybe I am a cheap “you know what” or maybe I just couldn’t see the difference under their lighting. To tell the truth, it was the 25% price difference between the 32s was what put me over the edge to pull the trigger on this one. If they’d have had a 37″ non LED version on display there for that same price difference there may have been trouble.

All in all I give it 4+ stars.
